1. Sign Up and Grab Your Ticket:

Arrive at least 30 minutes before the Spelling Bee kicks off. The host will make an announcement, signaling the impending bee. Head to the bar to sign up or sign in if you've purchased advance tickets online. With your ticket, you'll receive a number and your first drink ticket, redeemable for one of two rotating Indeed Brewing Co. beers. Want to secure your spot in advance? Purchase your tickets online!

2. Round One Spelling:

As the game commences, players will line up according to their assigned numbers to spell their first-round word. No questions are allowed in this round; rely on your instincts and take your best shot. Don't worry if you miss it – you can still rejoin the game. Just bring $10 to the bar and we'll gladly get you back on stage for round two.

3. Round Two and Beyond:

Starting in round two, players gain the power to ask for the word's definition, part of speech, language of origin, and its usage in a sentence. These tools become invaluable as the words become more challenging, and various pronunciations can lead to multiple possible spellings.

4. Embrace the Reversal of Fortune Hammer:

From round two onward, you're encouraged to embrace the Reversal of Fortune Hammer. By accepting this challenge, you'll need to spell your word backwards – and no, you won't know the word beforehand. Succeeding earns you respect and the chance to pass the hammer to another player still in the game, who'll then have to spell their word backwards. Don't worry; we'll explain it all before we start.
