  • You’re not contractually obligated to sip, slurp or gulp while spelling – however you use your drink tickets is up to you.

    That said, the only thing more entertaining than watching folks spell words is watching folks spell words with a touch of liquid courage. So, whether you’re sipping or staying sober, just make sure to mind your p’s and q’s.

  • If you want! While your event ticket will only include the brews sponsored by our partner, Indeed Brewing Co., feel free to grab whatever tickles your taste buds. The judges are happy to drink your beers for you.

    If beer isn’t your jam – or you’re skipping the “drinkin” part of the Bee – don’t sweat it. The 331 Club has a full bar and N/A options available for you to enjoy.

  • We believe in linguistic liberation, so watching the show won’t cost you a dime. However, if you’re looking to prove yourself and join our competition, you’ll need to purchase a ticket.

  • You can grab ‘em here or at the 331 Club when you arrive.

    Keep in mind, ordering online will save you a few bucks and ensure you’ve got a spot in the competition – this game has a max capacity of 60 participants.

  • Nope! Unless the pen and paper are imaginary and you’re actually just using your finger to trace letters on your hand (or the back of your number card), we can’t let you write it out first.

  • Audience members might be your cheerleaders, but they need to keep the hints and tips in their pockets during the game. It’s you, the mic, and your skills – get ready to go and make sure your crew keeps their knowledge to themselves.

  • The Drinkin’ Spelling Bee is all about the fun, camaraderie and the joy of letters – regardless of whether you’re a spelling champ or just looking for a good time.

    Embrace the challenge and have a laugh, whether you’re bringing your A-Game, B-Game or Z-Game.

  • We’ll begin with words on the easier side and gradually ramp up the difficulty as we go through rounds 2, 3 and 4. Seasoned speller or enjoyer of fun, you’ll have the chance to show off your skills for at least a round or two!

  • When you arrive, grab your first Indeed brew and get prepped for the spelling showdown. Round 1 kicks things off, and once you conquer a round, you’ll earn another drink ticket. It’s a winning combo of spelling fun and sipping satisfaction.
